About Ümraniye
Ümraniye used to be an unknown region for people looking for real estate investment in Istanbul, where it was not as famous as the other neighborhoods of Istanbul. But lately Ümraniye became a well-known region where even foreigners go to live in it for its calm, clean environment, and modern architecture.
Ümraniye is one of 39 municipalities of Istanbul, it is located on the Asian side of the city and ranks fourth among municipalities in Istanbul and ranks first among municipalities on the Asian side in terms of population density.
It has 35 counties and covers an area of 22,000 hectares. It is bordered to the west by the municipality of Üsküdar, to the east by Sancaktepe, to the south by Atasehir and to the north by Beykoz and Cekmeköy. Umraniye is considered one of the fastest-growing metropolises in Istanbul in terms of population and architectural development while maintaining the traditionally conservative character of the area.
It is also an area rich in economic diversity, from processing industries to clothing and wood product manufacturing.
